Milk
Bath
Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, was famous for her milk
baths. We now why they worked such wonders for her skin. The lactic
acid in milk is an alphahydroxy acid, a natural material that
dissolves the glue that holds dead skin cells together. Milk can
cleanse the skin down to it’s deepest layers, and will leave your
skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized.
Goat milk is probably the best of all the milks for
your skin. It’s particularly moisturizing and soothing for dry skin,
and has been known to heal, or at least help, eczema, psoriasis, and
other skin conditions. Compared to cow milk, goat milk has shorter
strands of proteins and truglycerides, which make it more easily
absorbed into the skin.
