Dead
Sea Soaps
The Dead Sea is 1300 ft
below sea level at the lowest point on the earth's surface. At
one time, about three million years ago, the Mediterranean flowed
into the area, but none of the water flowed out. The water had
no where to go but to evaporate, leaving behind accumulating
chloride salts, magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium, bromine and
various other materials. The combination of these minerals and
others give the Dead Sea salts, clay and mud their healing
properties.
